This hammer is made from wrought iron and 1045 carbon steel. The carbon steel faces have been forge welded to the iron body, and the head has been fully filed, sanded, and etched to reveal the grain of the wrought iron and contrasting materials. It is set on a heartwood hickory handle. This size and weight is ideal for striking tools, riveting, adjusting parts, and light forging. There is one available.
